Review #1
* * Stars (Just ok)
“Aru Shah and the Song of Death” by Roshani Chokshi is the second book in the “Pandava Quintet”. The series continues to follow Aru Shah and the Pandavas. This time, Aru Shah is accused of stealing the god of love’s bow and arrow, which causes all sorts of chaos. Along with her fellow Pandavas, Mini and Brynne, and their friend Aiden, Aru goes on a quest to clear her name and find the real thief. This quest takes them through numerous challenges and mythical realms filled with dangers. Along the way, Aru Shah and the Pandavas encounter gods and mythical creatures to find out who the true culprit is. Who stole the bow and arrow? Read the book to find out!

I felt that Aru is a great role model for younger readers. This book is great for young readers to learn about Hindu mythology. I personally felt that the plot got boring at parts and the interactions with Aru and her friends got boring. For upper elementary and middle school readers.
