Enjoy photos of this month’s Read to a Dog! Read to a Dog is a monthly program for families at the Huntley Area Public Library.  The volunteer animals are licensed therapy dogs and are accompanied by their owners for the program.  Families sign up for a fifteen minute time slot.  Readers can bring a book from home or choose one from the library.   We love Mo!  So we had a special event to celebrate everything Mo Willems.  We watched a video of “Don’t Let the Pigeon Stay Up Late”, then had different stations of other favorites, like Elephant and Piggie and Knuffle Bunny.  Then kids had a photo opportunity to be in a book with Elephant and Piggie.  And no, we didn’t let the pigeon drive the bus!
