Read to a Dog March 2015 (Gallery)

Read to a Dog is a monthly program for families at the Huntley Area Public Library.  The volunteer animals are licensed therapy dogs and are accompanied by their owners for the program.  Families sign up for a fifteen minute time slot.  Readers can bring a book from home or choose one from the library. Jim Gill Concert March 2015 (Gallery)

Over 300 people welcomed Jim Gill for his Family Room Tour in March.  Families filled Chesak Elementary’s gymnasium to hear Gill who has been entertaining children of all ages since the early 90’s. Winter Reading Program Finishers January 2015 (Gallery)

Over one hundred kids finished and turned in their Winter Reading logs to receive a prize!  Enjoy photos of some of our program finishers as they picked out their prizes. More than 300 kids participated in our Winter Reading program “Get Your Mitts on a Good Book” this year.  Thanks to the Chicago Wolves for helping to sponsor this program.
