Where would you see a pirate, Dora, and an alligator at the same time? Our Costume Parade in October, of course! Children went on a parade through the library for treats and trinkets. See which one is your favorite!
Every dog has their day and this was Casey, a Golden Retriever and Buddy, a Goldendoodle’s. Families took turns reading to these lovable dogs and maybe rubbed a tummy, too!
The library was ablaze with kids wanting to see a Huntley fire truck and meet real firemen. You won’t believe who was in charge of the fire hose!
Arrrggg! Many youngsters showed up to have their picture taken as we celebrated pirates with balloons, tattoos and books. These are the cutest pirates I’ve ever seen!
Over 150 people watched this American classic come to life at the Cosman Center. Families celebrated Grandparents Day with Wilbur, Charlotte and their animal friends.
Families watched and laughed as our volunteens entertained them with an Elephant & Piggy puppet show. Fun was had by all as our favorite characters were brought to life.
Summer is almost here and the Huntley Area Public Library is preparing Camp Reads-A-Lot the 2013 Children's Summer Reading Program. Registration begins June 5th at the library or online at www.huntleylibrary.org.
These kids had a great time learning to crochet! Some made awesome chain scarves, and others worked on more complicated projects. Everyone learned to crochet and had fun!
