Henna Body Art 2010

Rebecca Huston, henna artist from Heathen Ink (Summit, IL), returned to the Huntley Library in June of 2010 to share the history of henna body art with area teens. All participants went home with a temporary henna tattoo (lasting around 2 – 4 weeks), and information about how to create henna art of their own. Some of the teens even designed and applied their own tattoos!

Zombie Prom – October 2010

The Huntley Library’s Zombie Prom took place on October 29, 2010. Attendees were able to give themselves and other prom guests zombie makeovers. When everyone was properly zombified, we took prom pictures! Prom favors featured miniature disco balls and bloodied corsages (which the teens made themselves).
