Artist, Christine Thornton, returned to the library to teach a watercolor painting class on birch trees. Participants (adults and teens) created lovely, forest settings.

Project Tween: Paint n’ Sip (July 2017) Gallery
Enjoy pictures of our popular July Project Tween Paint-and-sip project: a sunset painting. To begin, each tween started by painting their canvas all orange. Then they layered different colors of acrylic paint and lastly, topped their creation with paint dots for the sun rays. What beautiful sunsets! Project Tween: Faux Stained Glass (April 2017) Gallery
Enjoy pictures of Project Tween Faux Stained Glass! Tweens used special paint on glass frames to make their own unique stained glass designs. Project Tween is a monthly program geared for youth between 10-14 years old at the Huntley Area Public Library.
