As summer approaches, the Huntley Area Public Library is gearing up for an exciting kickoff to our Summer Reading Challenge ‘Read, Renew, Repeat’ with a Registration Day event on
Monday, June 3rd. The library invites families and community members to join in on the festivities and sign up for a summer of reading and repeating!
Our first Read & Eat of 2024!
Thank you to all the families who came out to Culver’s on Thursday, April 18, 2024 for our Read & Eat: Cone with a Cop with the Pingree Grove Police Department! We colored, ate delicious Culver’s custard, and read stories with Officer Santana! We even got a special visit from Scoopie!
On Friday, March 29, members of the Huntley Area Lions Club presented Huntley Area Public Library Director Frank Novak and Head of Marketing Doug Cataldo with a check for $500.00 to assist in the future purchase of large print books for library patrons.
WOW! Kids practiced with a 3D plastic melting pen and created a small object to keep. Looks like fun!
