The Huntley Library partnered with Morkes Chocolates to offer candy-making classes to teens this summer (based on the summer reading theme “Dig Into Summer”). Teens created candy terrariums filled with candy mud, dirt, rocks, worms, plants, and imaginative creatures that they sculpted themselves and dipped in chocolate! Creative and delicious. Our popular henna event/artist is back! Rebecca Huston from Heathen Ink Tattoo returned to decorate area teens with temporary, henna tattoos. Participants also learned how to use the henna applicators to create their own designs. Photos are from two sessions, one in June and one in July.
