Our popular henna event/artist is back! Rebecca Huston from Heathen Ink Tattoo returned to decorate area teens with temporary, henna tattoos. Participants also learned how to use the henna applicators to create their own designs. Photos are from two sessions, one in June and one in July.
Teens dropped by to sew something by hand. Check out their creations!
Teens met up at the library to make animal ears (for costumes, cosplay, and everyday wear) out of duct tape or fleece. We attached them to barrettes, headbands, bobby pins, and hair bands to affix them to our heads! Some sewing happened, but the hot glue guns were very popular. Check out what we made!
Christine Thornton returned to the library to teach another fantastic watercolor class for teens and adults – this time they painted spring violets. See some of their creations below:
Teens had to escape from the maze in a “Maze Runner”-themed escape room. See photos below for the room/maze prior to their triumphant escape!
Artist, Christine Thornton, returned to the library to teach a watercolor painting class on birch trees. Participants (adults and teens) created lovely, forest settings.
