At this month’s Pajamarama, we read books that have ‘Oh, no’ in the title, including “Oh no, George” by Chris Haughton and “Oh no!” by Candace Fleming, which is about animals helping each other. Enjoy photos of this month’s Read to a Dog! Read to a Dog is a monthly program for families at the Huntley Area Public Library. The volunteer animals are licensed therapy dogs and are accompanied by their owners for the program. Families sign up for a fifteen minute time slot. Namaste! Families had fun as we learned using yoga skills to manage waiting in lines and even temper tantrums for their 2-5 year-olds. In a second class, caregivers picked up tips on promoting digestion and sleep for their birth-24 month-olds.
