This was our first Homeschool Lego Club. I wonder if the homeschooled kids enjoyed getting together and having fun with Legos? Their smiles give us the answer!
Kids showed off their incredible imagination and super building skills at Lego Club this month. Some decided that two heads were better than one and worked together. Love the sharing!
Tweens recreated their favorite characters, creatures and more using fusable Perler beads. Some used patterns provided and others made their own designs.
We read stories about windy days and acted like the wind with scarves. Then we made our own pinwheels for playing in the wind!
April showers bring Legos? Yes, they do and Lego clubbers had fun creating all kinds of vehicles and buildings with all our colorful Legos. Enjoy!
Kids ages 2-6 hear stories from Miss Jodi. Then they make a craft to show-off at home. Register to join us on most Wednesday or Thursday mornings!
Families came by the Program Room to see LIVE animals including frogs, tortoise, hedgehog, uromastyx lizard and snakes! Each half-hour included a different hands-on presentation and Q & A with Dakotah Henn.
Spring is in bloom! The Tweens had fun decorating a mug and adding a plant to it. Now all that’s left to do is watch it grow!
Families were entertained as they learned about animals and their habitats. Then the kids had fun playing games. This special program was brought to us by the McHenry County Conservation District.
