This month 3-5th graders painted a colorful background, then a silhouette of a tree and each one is different. Take a look!
In collaboration with School District 158’s Parent-Tot program, the library was excited to bring Jim Gill to the Huntley area. Over 500 fans danced, sang and enjoyed his music at Chesak Elementary.

Every dog has their day and this was Casey, a Golden Retriever and Buddy, a Goldendoodle’s. Families took turns reading to these lovable dogs and maybe rubbed a tummy, too!
The library was ablaze with kids wanting to see a Huntley fire truck and meet real firemen. You won’t believe who was in charge of the fire hose!
Arrrggg! Many youngsters showed up to have their picture taken as we celebrated pirates with balloons, tattoos and books. These are the cutest pirates I’ve ever seen!
Tweens designed a polymer clay coating to create a special pen in this month’s class.
