Library patrons participated in our Take a Hike program in November 2021 and shared photos of their adventures below. We distributed kits to help people plan and take enjoyable hikes. Kits included a backpack for supplies, water bottle, granola bar, safety whistle, and maps detailing area conservation sites. Want to plan your own hike? Adults and teens hand-lettered and framed meaningful quotes in this fun and artsy workshop led by Amanda Palczynski. They used collage techniques, watercolor pens, and a variety of other materials in their creations.
Tweens designed and decorated a book/tote bag and made buttons to show their love for the library. We provided all the supplies for kids ages 10-14 in this 90 minute class. Check out the photos!
