Whoo-whoo? Project Tweens is who! They practiced their drawing skills using a live Barred Owl model brought to us by the McHenry County Conservation District in the Sketch a Bird of Prey class.
Our creative kids made a variety of fun animals (and more!) out of pipe cleaners.

Tweens learned and practiced basic needle felting techniques with this quick and fun springtime project. Enjoy pictures of their creations!
This month, Tweens got tangled up with this string art project! For Project Tween String Art, each person designed and created a one-of-a-kind piece of art to admire and enjoy.
The Project Tween Self-Portrait Party was fun for all! Enjoy our gallery of photos from this January 2015 children’s program. Tweens brought a picture of themselves and their artistic abilities. We provided the canvas and the paint. They were asked to express themselves on canvas in a self-portrait, using acrylic paints.
Using crème makeup, tweens practiced applying and blending to create these monstrous results!
Tweens made a variety of gifts in this fun workshop (bath salts, cookies, and more!).
