Teen Tuesdays: Maximum Ride Madness – July 2012

The newest (and final, according to our sources) Maximum Ride book is out! We celebrated with a Maximum Ride event that tested our “bird kid” attendees’ physical and mental skills. After a brief warmup, our flock honed their dexterity, reflexes, and hand-to-eye coordination. Teen Tuesdays: Henna Art – July 2012

Rebecca Huston, henna and tattoo artist from Heathen Ink (Summit, IL), returned to the Huntley Library in July 2012 to share the history of henna body art with area teens. All participants went home with a temporary henna tattoo (lasting around 2 – 4 weeks), and information about how to create henna art of their own!

The Huntley Area Public Library will be closed Thursday, November 28, 2024, in observance of the Thanksgiving holiday. Additionally, we will be closing early Wednesday, November 27, 2024, at 5:00 p.m. Our exterior book drop will be closing on Wednesday, November 27, at 5:00 p.m. as well. All online resources will be available during this time. The library and exterior book drop will reopen Friday, November 29, 2024 at 9:00 a.m.
