Teen Zine is the Huntley Area Public Library’s writers’ group for high school and college teens. Teen Zine is also the name of the group’s publication. Get your questions about college and financial aid answered by our district ISAC (Illinois Student Assistant Commission) representative, Daina Sauls. The Huntley library partners with ISAC every year for events/presentations on various topics relating to post-secondary education options. If you have questions, you can reach Daina directly through her contact information below. She is an excellent resource for college planning, scholarships searching, FAFSA assistance, and more.  

Eye Spy Huntley (Summer 2020)

As part of the Eye Spy 2020 adult/teen summer reading challenge, we asked participants to share some of their experiences as they completed activities to earn the “Eye Spy Huntley” badge. These included ordering from local restaurants, exploring the outdoors, taking a self-guided tour of the Huntley Square (and learning a little local history along the way), and looking out for and learning to identify local birds (backyard birding).
