Myrtle is back in her town for Christmas. However, when Myrtle is around somehow crime will be around also. Before she has to deal with another murder, Myrtle also has to deal with what is happening at home. Like how Miss Judson and her father are arguing and mad at each other. One day, while Myrtle is anxiously awaiting the unveiling of the annual Christmas display at Mr. Leighton’s shop, something unexpected happens. Mr Leighton is pushed out on a chair, dead. There are too many people who could have murdered him. But somehow Myrtle feels the murder has something to do with the mysterious disappearance of Olive Blackwell. This book kept me on the edge of my seat. Though Myrtle is always solving mysteries, the mysteries never turn out how you expected them to end. For kids, middle and high school teens, and adults.
