The book takes place in Manhattan, New York. The three main characters, Lizzie Summers, Karina Jurgensen, and Hudson Jones are best friends with famous parents who are a model, a billionaire multibusiness-father, and a singer/songwriter. Their lives are difficult, but Lizzie is hoping for the best. She is a model to a photographer, student, and daughter, but hopefully it goes as Lizzie hopes.
