Optalec ClearView assists people with Low Vision magnify documents and photos up to 95x
Huntley, IL – The Huntley Area Public Library was once again honored to receive a donation from the Huntley Area Lions Club. The donation, a Optelec ClearView desktop video magnifier was presented to the library by Lion Jim Harper and Lion Jim Saletta. It was donated to the Lions Club by an anonymous Sun City resident.
The ClearView magnifier is now available for use inside the library and is located next to the Information Desk. The ClearView can magnify up to 95x in HD, and in color! It is easy to use and is powered on by a single button.
The donation of a magnified vision device adds another chapter to the partnership between the Library and the Lions Club. Additionally, it continues their mission and Helen Keller’s crusade as Knights of the Blind. Helping the visually impaired has been a cause for the Lions Club since 1925.
