I thought this book was pretty great considering that it’s the first book about anorexia I have ever read. And it’s also a memoir, so I think that makes it extra special. I think that this book really captures the essence of struggling and dealing with an eating disorder. I think that it’s really great how through the book it shows how Elena changes and how she ends up in the end. One thing that I think could’ve been better is that in the book about 90% of the time Elena is going from one care center to another. I think that the plot could’ve been better if there wasn’t so much changing, but it is a memoir, so those things probably happened. Overall, I thought this was the best anorexia book I have ever read.
