Empire of Bones by N. D. Wilson is the 3rd & last book in the Ashtown burials series. This book is excellent and will pull anyone in to read it. What I liked about this book was that Cyrus & Antigone (the main characters) are extremely loving as a brother & sister. Family is very important to Cyrus, though my favorite character is probably Rupert Greeves. Rupert Greeves is my favorite character because he is so selfless. Rupert is always putting other people before himself and a quote that is stated is “Rupert walks in the likeness of the only mortal that the dragon feared.” Rupert is a kind, gentle, loving, and altogether an enjoyable character that anyone will like to read about. Cyrus learns a truth that will change his life, but he (Cyrus) is still an enjoyable hero. Empire of Bones, which is the last book in the series, is a fun installment, & I will recommend this book to anyone.
