Flowers for Algernon
by Daniel Keyes
Science Fiction
Review #1
* * * Stars (Pretty good)
I liked the concept of the book and the foreshadowing it has. It talks about Algernon, a mouse, and a human being tested for a “potion” that can make you smarter. For the human it works, yet makes him realize something about his life that he didn’t before. What I didn’t like was how it didn’t really pull me in and I felt like I already knew what was going to happen way before it happens a lot.
