This book is about 3 middle school kids who come together because of Jessica, the ghost. The reason these 3 kids are the only ones to have the ability to see Jessica is because they have all thought about committing suicide. Jessica knows there is a reason she keeps coming back to the hospital where she died. Later, Jessica figures out that she has to save Lorna, who was about to commit suicide. She has to save someone from the decision she made that cost her her life.
