Gregor and his little sister fall into a land below New York City. They find a strange land of giant animals and pale humans. They embark on a quest to fulfill a prophecy and save Gregor’s dad. I liked the book because it was nice and exciting.

Gregor’s dad had been missing for years. After he and his sister fell from their basement laundry room, they arrive at an underground civilization called the Underland. The Underland is home to giant creatures such as rats, mice, bats, and cockroaches, along with pale, violet-eyed humans. Gregor learned about a prophecy that featured him as a warrior. So, Gregor has to go on a quest to save the Underland and his dad. I liked this book because it was very adventurous and I had no idea what would happen next.
