Stephanie Duncan – Trustee

Stephanie Duncan’s connection with the Huntley community dates back to her childhood, a connection that eventually led her to officially call Huntley home in 2016 along with her husband and two sons.

Stephanie earned her Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration followed by a Master of Business Administration with a concentration in Marketing. Prior to this, she spent 8 years as a buyer at Claire’s Stores. However, the call to focus on her family prompted her to step away from her corporate position. Since 2009, she has embraced the role as a small business owner, managing the many responsibilities of entrepreneurship, managing a home, and most recently, guiding her two children through homeschooling. Presently, she is looking forward to a new chapter in her life: offering elective education to homeschooling students spanning elementary to high school levels.

As a self-proclaimed “student for life”, Stephanie holds the public libraries in high esteem, recognizing them as invaluable sources of enriching programs, learning opportunities, and experiences for the community as a whole.
