Start using Kanopy today!
To use Kanopy, you’ll need to enter your library card information and create a Kanopy account. We recommend doing this in a web browser, but you can also set up your account in the Kanopy app for iOS or Android.
Use our start page https://huntleylibrary.kanopy.com, visit Kanopy.com, or download the Kanopy app from the Google Play or Apple store to get started. In addition, after you create your Kanopy account, you can add Kanopy to your Roku, Amazon Fire Stick, or Fire TV device.
Once you set up your account, you’ll have access to movies, TV series, incredible documentaries from PBS and the BBC.
Besides those features, Kanopy also includes the Great Courses, an acclaimed collection of video lectures featuring professors and experts explaining complex topics in an engaging, clear manner.
Just for the Kids
Kanopy does feature some content that is not for children, so you may wish to explore the parental settings on your devices. However, there is an entire video library specifically for the kiddos to explore – Kanopy Kids. This area is full of quality content specifically for children ages two and up, with a focus on ages 2-8. Best of all kids can enjoy unlimited plays.
With Kanopy’s parental controls enabled, your child will only be able to view titles in Kanopy Kids. To exit Kanopy Kids or watch videos outside of Kanopy Kids, you’ll need to enter a four-digit PIN.
What you have access to:
With your library card you will receive 10 tickets per month to watch films and television shows. Tickets will reset at the beginning of each month. Furthermore, you can enjoy unlimited plays in Kanopy Kids.
Kanopy content is updated on a weekly basis.
