Huntley Area Public Library receives $1,000 from local Lions Club for Large Print Books
HUNTLEY, IL – The Huntley Area Public Library is pleased to announce a generous $1,000 donation from the Huntley Area Lions Club, District 1-J, to support the expansion of the library’s large print book collection. This contribution will help provide more accessible reading materials for patrons with visual impairments and those who prefer larger text for easier reading.
“We are incredibly grateful to the Lions Club for their continued support,” said Frank Novak, Director of the Huntley Area Public Library. “This donation directly benefits our community by making books more accessible to those who need them.”
The Lions Club has a history of supporting the Huntley Area Public Library and its growing collection of large print books, with their most recent donation being in July of 2024. Their contributions have allowed the library to add a diverse selection of large print books.
