Talia Morris has been wronged by Mystics before and when she learns that her boyfriend, Nathaniel IS one and hails from Lumara, a famous Mystic island enclave, she’s a lot of things. Shocked, distressed, furious… But she agrees to give his family a chance when he invites her to attend his cousin’s wedding on the island. Things seem to be going well until Talia’s wedding gift causes 14 wedding guests to fall into an enchanted sleep from which they cannot awake – without her assistance. That’s when Talia learns that she’s been under a spell, too, several, in fact, and she’s not who she thought she was. Nothing is.
This is a wild ride, my friends. There are many juicy plot twists and, like Talia, you will not know who or what version of reality to trust! Great standalone. For high school teens.
