In this sequel to “The Breadwinner,” the story starts off with Parvana burying her father, who had died of his sickness. Once her father was buried, she starts to move and to try and find her family along with her few belongings. As she is on her journey, she finds a bombed town. She goes to look for food, but she doesn’t ONLY find food, she also finds a baby!!! She brings him on her journey and names him Hasaan. She also meets a very annoying Asif and a talkative Leila who also accompany them after her grandmother died. Once at the refugee camp Parvana reunites with her family! *Read the third book: Mud City*
