This book is amazing! It is my introduction to Ranger’s Apprentice series, and I have loved every single page. Princess Madelyn of Araluen is headstrong, willful, and stubborn. And she exasperates her mother and father to the utmost. Meanwhile, a ranger named Will Treaty is struggling with a difficult loss. His friends come up with a plan to help him overcome his mood. Will Maddie be able to keep Will’s trust? And can Will open up to Maddie? I enjoyed this book because there is a sense of loyalty, love, and devotion woven through it. It also has some Lord of the Rings elements (the rangers) that were fun to read about. This is a book that I would recommend to anyone who likes fictional adventure.
