Our friends at Culver’s of Huntley and the Huntley Police Department joined us for a fun-filled evening at the latest Read and Eat event. We thank all the families who attended the evening. Officer Jerry and Scoopie wholeheartedly enjoyed taking photos and reading stories with you.
Mark your calendar for the upcoming event, Read and Eat: Scoop with Scoopie and an Elf, scheduled for Thursday, December 21, 2023. This free program promises coloring books, Culver’s custard, a photo opportunity with Scoopie and an Elf, and perhaps even a special guest from the North Pole. It serves as a wonderful way to conclude 2023 and welcome the new year. We look forward to your presence! No registration is required for this drop-in event, and Culver’s of Huntley is conveniently located at 12950 IL-47, Huntley, IL 60142.

About Read and Eat Events
The Read & Eat events were conceptualized to impart literacy to the Huntley Area Community through collaborative efforts with partners including Culver’s of Huntley, the Huntley Fire Protection District, Huntley Police Department, Huntley Park District, and Huntley Community School District 158. These free, family-fun gatherings provide engaging activities, including story time, coloring sessions, and discussions. The primary objectives are to nurture a love for reading, to portray law enforcement officials and first responders in a positive manner, while concurrently introducing children to prospective career opportunities, all within a framework of enjoyable experiences.
