Jaron is now King. He gets attacked by an old friend who needs to deliver a message. This message confuses him and in confusion he makes a big decision. A decision that will change the fate of all Carthya. A decision that will take him right to the center of his enemies’ lair. The pirates of Avania. Will Jaron leave his kingdom to save his kingdom, or will he do what he’s supposed to do and hide like a coward?

He’s back! Previously known as Sage, Jaron has stepped into the throne. He couldn’t have come at a better time – the armies on all three borders want the country and they want him dead. Particularly Avenia. Avenia has the pirates. The Avenian Pirates. A threat of attack looms over Carthya, and Jaron is the only one who can stop it. Except for the minor problem that stopping the pirates means joining them. Jaron will fight for his kingdom in the way he best thinks he can.
Be aware that there is some brutal violence (i.e. smashing someone’s leg) in the story that may be disturbing for readers. However, the quality is still amazing, and the plot twists, once again, steal the show. For older teens (high school) + adults.
