I liked how the story was about mythical creatures and adventure through a dangerous land. Jack is a scald that was taken away from his homeland. Thorgil is a berserker that is Jack’s friend. The plot is mostly in Jotunheim.

Full of danger at every turn! I loved how the characters were similar to us, but yet due to circumstances, had to step out of the ordinary and rise to the occasion! I loved this book!
