Introduced in The Rook, O’Malley’s first book in the Checquy Files series, Myfanwy (pronounced like Tiffany with an “M”) must use great diplomacy to get the Checquy to join forces with the Grafters, their bitterest rival.
Full of descriptive language and imagination as well as monsters and mayhem, this sequel lived up to my high expectations. For the best reading experience, start with The Rook.
