Enjoy pictures of Project Tween Doodle Art where kids learned to doodle with style and create complex artwork starting with simple designs. Project Tween is a monthly program geared for youth between 10-14 years old at the Huntley Area Public Library.

Welcome to the jungle, The Jungle Bus that is.  The Jungle Bus, which is a bus transformed into a gymnastics playground for 2-7 year-olds, visited the library. Pajamarama August 2015 (Gallery)

Enjoy photos from this month’s Pajamarama!  We read stories about Arctic animals, including “Over in the Arctic Where the Cold Winds Blow,” and then we made a polar bear fan. Mane in Heaven: Mini Horses August 2015 (Gallery)

Over 550 people came to see these thigh-high mini horses. They are therapy animals, trained to visit hospital patients. They put smiles on many faces at the Huntley Area Public Library! Art Discovery August 2015 (Gallery)

This month in Art Discovery, kids ages 8-10 created patterns on a printout of a zebra and used colored pencils to make each one unique. The Jungle Book Theater July 2015 (Gallery)

Over 140 people came to the Cosman Center to see The Jungle Book brought to life by American Eagle Productions. Lil Critters July 2015 (Gallery)

Project Tween: Sketch a Bird of Prey (July 2015) Gallery

Whoo-whoo? Project Tweens is who!  They practiced their drawing skills using a live Barred Owl model brought to us by the McHenry County Conservation District in the Sketch a Bird of Prey class.
