The writing style is very poetic. I like how it deals with issues of race and class in a simple way younger readers can understand. Also her parents’ dramatic divorce leaves Cady with horrible migraines. She finds comfort at Beachwood Island with her cousins, particularly with a step cousin named Gat. Obviously the person who wrote this novel was amazingly good. This is why I like this book.

This book was pretty good. It is probably one of my favorites. It is about a rich New England family that spend their summers in a private island. The liars are the three eldest Sinclair grandchildren and a friend. Cady gets amnesia throughout the story. It is also a love story with Cadence and Gat.
