As the snow starts falling and it gets cold outside, Room 26 is busy getting ready for the Winter Wonderland Program at school. As the girls sing a snowflake song, they dress up as snowflakes and twirl around the stage. As Daniel plays Jingle Bells, the boys prance around dressed like horses. But when Daniel sneaks Humphrey into his pants’ pocket, Humphrey falls out and has to avoid getting trampled by the students’ feet. In the end, the program turns out great!

And the favorite classroom hamster is back! Humphrey re-appears in this series, this time, in winter. Life as a classroom pet isn’t easy- especially for a pet like Humphrey. He has a lock that doesn’t lock, so his adventures mainly happen at nighttime. When Longfellow School works on their winter production, Ms. Lark comes to teach the music in Room 26. But this is bad news for Humphrey, as Ms. Lark doesn’t like him! Who couldn’t like Humphrey? As Humphrey maneuvers to solve this problem, he also tries to help his classmates- in the most surprising ways. This series is an excellent series, and I would recommend it for any age!
