Marissa Meyer is one of my favorite authors. She packs humor, adventure, suspense, action, fantasy, sci-fi, and drama all into a single book. Winter is book number 4 in Marissa Meyer’s Lunar Chronicles series out of a total of 6 books. Winter is about Princess Winter-Hay-Blackberry of Luna and Princess Selene Blackberry (rightful queen to Luna). Their paths cross at Queen Levana of Luna and Emperor Kaito of the Eastern Commonwealth’s royal wedding. Queen Levana wants both princesses executed simply because they are a threat to Levana keeping a crown on her head. The story continues full of action, drama, and much more. I give Winter a 5-star rating and Winter is personally my favorite book in the Lunar Chronicles series.

Winter is a truly amazing ending to the Lunar Chronicles series. Princess Winter of Luna decided long ago to never use her Lunar gift. This caused her to get Lunar sickness and go insane, but she knows that what her stepmother is doing is not right. As Winter joins Cinder and her friends to remove Queen Levana from power, this book has so many unexpected twists and turns, constant action, and makes you never want to put it down.
