* * * Stars (Pretty good)
I liked “Wonder” because it would tell us about each character in the book. Each character had their own chapter which they would tell us about their side of the story. I also liked “Wonder” because it was based on things that could happen in real life.

* * * * * Stars (Amazing!)
“Wonder” is a really good book. August is a really unique kid, not just in attitude, but in looks also. Auggie has been through a lot of surgeries. He has been home-schooled his whole life, but this year he is going to an actual school. A lot of kids make fun of him.

* * * * * Stars (Amazing!)
I liked this book because I liked how the author made this book a life lesson, that kids should treat others the way they want to be treated. Because Auggie had struggled with a deformation that was not his fault if he looks like that. He had 27 surgeries. Another reason why I loved this book is it’s so educational because the scenery takes place in school. There are many other reasons why I loved this book, including how Auggie’s family were very supportive through his days of real school.

* * * * * Stars (Amazing!)
“Wonder” is about a boy named Auggie. Auggie has a deformed face, which is the reason he has never been to public school. His mom decided he would start middle school at a public school. He encounters many people and problems, but he manages to overcome them. He ends up becoming the most popular person in his school. I like this book because it was very interesting and inspirational.

* * * * Stars (Great!)
I gave “Wonder” a 4 out of 5 stars because some of the more shocking parts of the story came at the end of the story. “Wonder” is about a boy born with a facial deformity that causes him not to go to school…until now. August Pullman will be facing some of the hardest parts of his life. He has had seven surgeries before he was four. During his time at school he gets bullied and finds new friends. His sister Via has a new boyfriend and he helps them get through a shocking death that changes their whole family and his friends. I think that everyone should read this book.

* * * Stars (Pretty good)
“Wonder” follows the story of August “Auggie” Pullman, a ten-year-old boy with a facial difference due to a genetic condition. After being homeschooled, Auggie starts fifth grade at Beecher Prep. He faces challenges and bullying but becomes friends with Summer and Jack. Auggie’s presence influences the school community, teaching them about kindness and acceptance. The story is narrated from multiple perspectives, including Auggie’s sister Via, and his classmates. Throughout the school year, Auggie grows confident and learns to stand up for himself. By the end of the book, he is celebrated for his courage.
“Wonder” is a heartfelt and inspiring read. It is a good read for children because it explores the importance of kindness and empathy. Auggie Pullman’s journey is touching and offers valuable lessons for readers of all ages, especially for children. However, the multiple perspectives can sometimes disrupt the flow of the book. In addition, the multiple perspectives can be confusing for young readers. For upper elementary school readers.
