We are happy to announce that work will begin on the library’s drive-up book return on Monday, May 16, 2022. Removal of the drive-up book return will be the first step of a much-needed height adjustment to make it accessible for most vehicles. Following the removal of the book return, some minor construction will take place on the drive-up window and lane. During this time all drive-up window services and book return will be closed. All library materials must be returned using the indoor book drop located inside and to the left when entering the library. Any holds may be picked up inside the library and checked out using the library app, self-check machines or at the checkout desk.
We know that this may inconvenience some patrons that cannot visit the library during operating hours. To help with this issue, the library will extend due dates until the project is completed. If you are unable to enter the library due to illness or disability, or require any additional accommodations, please contact the library’s Checkout Desk at 847.669.5386 and press 1.
